If you have ever dreamt of owning a piece of Didion’s life, the time is now. On Wednesday, Nov. 16 not-so-ordinary pieces from the extraordinary life of Joan Didion, who passed away last year, are being auctioned off. And what’s on the table will not disappoint any fan, whether they are biased toward Didion as the acclaimed author or towards Joan as the cult style icon.

Didion’s California beach pebble collection is up for auction Nov 16.
The 224-item catalogue thus includes both high and low from Didion’s art collection, books, furniture and fashion. Highlights include Didion’s California beach pebble and seashell collection, a portrait of the icon and her daughter taken by celebrated Annie Leibovitz, blank notebooks, a Cartier desk clock and, last but not least, a pair of oversized CELINE shades – the very symbol of Didion’s legendary wardrobe.

Dusty Deco x Pernille Teisbaek
The Collaboration of the Year is here: Dusty Deco’s iconic The Arco Lounge Chair is now reinterpreted by evenly iconic Danish creative Pernille Teisbaek. The result is a true win-win situation, mirroring a long and close relationship between Pernille and Lina and Edin, founders of the interior destination Dusty Deco, available online and on-site in Mallorca. The seating furniture is by perfection Pernille’s Scandinavian style transformed into a piece of contemporary furniture. An object crafted in a Zebra print fabric, Nubuck leather, beech and plywood that will age with grace and will have great potential to become one of the classics of our time.

A Mythical Christmas has finally come to Svenskt Tenn. We’re promised to experience a magical holiday season filled with Christmas treasures, inspired by the lost city of Atlantis – with a side of British Designer and artist Luke Edward Hall. Because Luke is back for the second time at Svenskt Tenn. From dressing some of the most prestigious brands, such as Burberry and Lanvin, in his popping patterns and strong colours, Luke is now ready to dress your very Christmas Tree in his anti-minimalist design. One can expect hand-painted Christmas glass balls, intricate brass objects and interior textiles printed in the to-dye-for ”Coral Diamond Trellis” pattern, taking cues from the treasures of the ocean.
