Non-fashion fashion accessories:
A case study

Six months into this pandemic there are many, many things we have come to miss. A lot. Like traveling the world, visiting grandparents and being really drunk in huge crowds at 4 am. On top of this, I’ve also had serious street style withdrawals. The world has been in lock down and fashion weeks have gone digital. In an effort to still this hunger for pictures of cute strangers on the street I’ve spent better parts of my weekend browsing catalogs of last year’s street style. This has made me come to a revolutionary conclusion: Non-fashion fashion accessories are the best. Here are a few.
Drinks
While dogs are newcomers to street style, drinks have been around the block so to speak. Whenever I think if drinks + cute outfits, I think of the Olsen twins. I’d say they were the pioneers of the take-away coffee mug. ≈Ten years ago, Mary-Kate and Ashley made us think a hot beverage in-hand is way cooler than an actual it-bag. However, there has been a change of power. Coffee is kind of last season. And after extensive research I have discovered it’s not matcha or green juice that’s trending on the streets these days. It’s good ol’ water ladies and gentlemen.
