Summer is great, isn’t it? Everyone look better, everything taste better and every outfit look better. Until it doesn’t, am I right?? Like strawberries left in the sun for too long, an outfit can to go bad. Melt away. Become a joke of what it once were (like two ours ago before you left home but more importantly the air con).
They say beauty fades but diamonds are forever and they were really onto something. Shirts get ice coffee stains (why karma why) and dresses get wrinkles but accessories is weathering all summer storms, all season out.

As I child I was very sensitive to the sun, I guess I still am. My mother loves the beach and always has which didn’t always meet my needs to be in the shadow. Her solution? Dressing me up in all kinds of hats. Along with no particular clothes at all and sandals. There were scarves she had tied very Jack Sparrow approved, there were flower patterned hats wider than my full length and everything in between. Let’s just say it might have played a part in my summer style over 20 years later. Hats and good shoes. What more can a person ask for in terms of summer attire?
