That’s a wrap for men’s fashion week season fall winter 2023 — a season where drama, humor and the lack of both have dominated the runways.

Saint Laurent brought classic french dramatique in men’s fashion week comeback. The bows! The coats! The turtleneck dresses! The hair look (copying asap).

Bode gave their take on folklore and the 1970s. The search for fringe leather jackets and grandma knits increased significantly on Depop right after the show I am sure.

Véronique Nichanian proved that 30 years and counting only has made her better for Hermès Men’s RTW. The leather pieces were in true Hermès way hero looks closely followed by the accessories and knitted pieces. Knit t-shirt over turtlenecks, hello?

Prada brought sharp and classic Prada with a Raf Simon’s twist and it felt like putting on a sweater you’ve kept in the addict for a while and suddenly remembered your love for. Prada green heart Prada grey forever.

JW Anderson brought humor and personality and reminded everyone what fashion can be with a true creative genius behind the joystick.

Gucci however failed with that (if the joke wasn’t how far Gucci could leap from former creative director Alessandro Michele, in that case, it was actually hilarious). Although we will see many of the looks again.

Although Jonathan Anderson almost has let own brand JW Anderson and Loewe walk beside each other the past season he never misses an opportunity to anchor his newfangled ideas with Loewe’s rich heritage and archive. Fall/Winter 2023 was no exception.

Fendi Fall Winter 2023 was like that hot rich uncle with no kids traveling the world, but only like the real luxe and unexploited destinations. Very extra but still in quite a IYKYK kind of way. What does my family look like you might wonder, nothing like this I can tell you, but let me live in this cashmere cape-draped fantasy, won’t you?
