To socialize or talk informally preferably over a drink. Word forms: 3rd person singular present tense hobnobs, present participle hobnobbing, past tense, past participle hobnobbed.
But honestly. Hobnob is a safe space for women who prefer iced coffee over a perfectly curated wardrobe. It’s a daycare center for women who are intrigued by trends, but also don’t care. It is an open bar for those who swear on vintage Chanel and whose pension funds hang in their closets.
Forget about bracelets, it’s all about the anklets now.
The trend obviously isn’t that new. Women actually wore anklets as early as 6,000 B.C. according to finds in Egyptian tombs although you might remember them more from the late 90s early 00s when every celebrity was wearing anklets in every gossip magazine.
Or maybe this passed you too and your relationship with anklets now is based on Daniel Lee’s first Bottega Vetena collection, Pre-Fall 2019 where he presented the iconic (too early to call it that?) net pumps with a thin golden chain.

But as fashion always is up for interpretation, the shoe anklet has wandered off and can now be found everywhere.
How to style the anklet? This fall, with everything really. An anklet is a perfect complement to a midlength dress or to a full leather-look which we are seeing everywhere this autumn.
Make sure it’s heavy and golden to really make a statement. Why not make it a double, either layer two anklets together or wear one on each foot.

Need a quick solution? Go for shoes with anklets. That way, you will never forget to accessorize even during the most stressful moment.
