Stüssy & Dries Van Noten
Opposites attract.
That could only be the answer to the unexpected collaboration between the Antwerp Six member and Belgian designer Dries van Noten and cult, casual brand Stüssy. But, for what we can see out from the pictures that have leaked out – release date in stores is Friday, November 18th – it looks like a match made in heaven.
Laidback California collaboration.
Big tees, bermudas and bold prints.
Dries van Noten’s rich patterns and patchwork motifs are balancing up laidback Stüssy iconic pieces such as the bomber jacket, the big tee and the bermudas, in such a convincing way. Not to neglect that the campaign, shot by Tyrone Lebon, features Flea, founding member and bassist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and a bad ass style legend.

I’m telling you, the level of excitement is so hight don’t be surprised if I’m already on my way down to that California beach to catch some waves and get the full lookbook-feel irl.
Stüssy & Dries Van Noten is available worldwide at select chapter stores, select Dover Street Market locations, the Dries Van Noten stores, on eu.stussy.com and driesvannoten.com on Friday, November 18th.
The Balenciaga Gift
An exploration of what people collect and receive as gifts. That is the vision of the just launched Balenciaga Gift Shop Campaign, and we appreciate it.
Balenciaga Hotel & Resorts artwork on a teapot, a plate and a bowl, the Triple S sneaker as a gold-plated sculpture, a heart-shaped plush Dog Bed, Le Cagole Boot and Dynasty Sunglasses as hand-painted glass ornaments, a made-to-order bench created from upcycled materials by artist Tejo Remy, a fitness mat and Balenciaga Tape. You can find literally everything and anything in the gift shop and more will be added as the new collection of Balenciaga Objects launch on November 21st.
Tom of Ford
A comparison with Tom of Finland feels inevitable in this context. Not only for the obvious – the first name Tom, but also for all the sexy, posing images of the great male genius that have been broadcasted worldwide due to the announcement of Estée Lauder Com’s purchase of the TOM FORD Brand on Tuesday. A takeover that established ELC as the sole owner and cost the net sum of USD 2.8 billion. Tom Ford himself was also included in the price tag as the brand’s creative visionary, a role that he will keep until at least end of calendar 2023.
The success story, the TOM FORD BEAUTY Brand, is said to continuously be the greatest source for securing the long-term cash flow. Since first introduced by ELC in 2006, TOM FORD BEAUTY has grown into one of the most successful and aspirational beauty brands in the world, reflecting Tom Ford’s singular vision of modern glamour, crafted with ultimate quality. Let’s see if the future Tom is all about lipstick smiles and glowy skin.

Do You Believe In Miracles?
One has just happened: Disney is reported to finally sweep its magic wand over The Princess Diaries again. A third movie is under the making and sources say it will be a continuation of the Anne Hathaway-led series of films rather than a reboot – and that Hathaway isn’t signed yet but has publicly stated her repost for a sequel. To be continued…
While waiting for the magic to happen, let’s indulge in some favorite Hathaway looks from front row to Cannes film festival and breezy, French summer nights.
