Serving You Some Unexpected (or really?) Outfit Combos
I have always been a very experimental person when it comes to colors and patterns. But that you know by now. My creativity has always been driven of exploring and testing new limits. Trying to show and create feelings of it. I remember one time when I was 16 and walked out of my door in a white fake fur jacket and cow printed pants, people literally turned around and asked what I am wearing. Not in a curious way, rather in a naughty way. And not a day since then, I have never ever cared about being judged for how I dress. And that is what, I think, have made where I am today.
However, I don’t know if there are any unexpected combinations anymore? I guess all those lines are getting blurrier and blurrier. But, I am serving you a couple of them

Checks on checks
In different sizes! And matching hats!
If you read our trend report from Copenhagen fashion week (if not, do it here) this is definitely a trend that will appear this fall. Cant’t wait? Well then La Veste does matching hats to (almost) all of their pants. And yes, I love it.
But the thing with checks on checks, in different sizes on the checks (like the suit I am wearing) I think people should dare to wear more. It’s so great.
Suit, La Veste
Hat, La Veste
Boots, Pavement
Knit, Arket
Corduroy on corduroy
Did you see this one coming??
I can almost bet on that double colored corduroy is something new for you.
No? Yes? Well, it’s something recently discovered for me. The full corduroy suit has been a thing for a while, but I haven’t seen a double colored (what I can remember) version yet. Or am I just a complete sleepy head? However, this will for sure be a new THING in my spring wardrobe. For you you maybe?
Blazer, Mulberry
Pants, Isabel Marant
Cap, Hobnob Journal (coming soon)
Heels, Bottega Veneta
Full on leather
This is maybe the most expected combo of the day. BUT I think it’s still very unexpected to see 100%, like e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g leather. And I feel very (very) Pernille Teisbeack in it. But I like it.
Leather shirt (chrome free), Arket
Vegan leather pants, The Frankie Shop
Leather coat, Vintage
Boots, Pavement
Purple + green
A new favorite color combo of mine.
I have always been a fan of weird color combinations, like wearing yellow with purple or pink with red. And my latest crush is wearing deep purple with sage green. Are you agreeing with me? Or am I just still into weird color combinations?
