Looking back: I renewed one of my outfits from Summer 2019
Looking back at outfits from your past is something I learned can be truly helpful. I looked back at a photo of me from the summer of 2019, and I have no idea why I haven’t innovated the outfit since then. I’m talking about layering shirts.
So this is the original outfit I wore in maybe June / July this summer. At the time, there wasn’t anything more to it than a couple of garments I just covered my body in while almost in the same step leaving my apartment. However a few months later, I don’t want to wear anything else.
I happen to be in a very warm place while writing this, and I know that we are in the middle of the longest darkest and coldest season of them all (hello, Scandis.) Even though this can easily be worn while walking barefoot on a beach, it is also the perfect way to stay at least a bit warm when you don’t feel like wear something too heavy. This can also be applied to wearing thicker pants. I promise.
The all white version
Something that I would never wear three weeks ago, but feel quite comfortable wearing now with my three weeks in-tan, is this all white outfit. Wearing this short sleeve shirt on top of the long sleeve shirt is a fun way to make the simplest outfits more interesting. I think I’m gonna wear this outfit with a pair of beige boots when I’m back home in the cold. Stay tuned.

My boyfriend has the best vacation shirts. This Yellow striped Polo By Ralph Lauren is by far my favorite.
The tropical version
For this outfit I kept the green long sleeved shirt from the original outfit, and changed the accessories and the top shirt. Bag and sunglasses are from local markets here in Thailand, Vacation shirt and green shirt from my boyfriends closet.
Dreamy padded leather flip flops from Isabel Marant
The classy version

No, this is not a short sleeve shirt styled on top of a long sleeved shirt. But they are both shirts. So there you go.
I love a good set. This striped outfit from Scotch & Soda is something very suitable for days when you feel like wearing something oversized, something that breathes and something… Striped.
