I am addicted to blazers

It’s effing true! I have no stop. I can seem to stop buying blazers. Bouclé blazers, short sleeve blazers, hour glass fitted blazers, leather blazers etc. Blazers are basically like people, no one is like the other and really, can one have too many friends? I am gonna go with no.

The only things speaking against my by now kind of unhealthy addiction to blazers are my cashflow (or lack of??) and closet situation. Blazers are lovely but not the most space effective garment one can collect.

So, since I shall not get one more blazer (I make no promises though) I wanted to highlight the best ones out there right now. ‘There’ being the internet and ‘now’ being late summer, one of the best seasons for blazer next after spring and fall. Hehh.

Men’s blazers, or blazers with inspiration from the gentlemen’s section are very over represented in my closet. I love them. They just seem to go with exactly anything. And due to the many variations they come in, one can simply never have too many bc no one is like the other???

So this is my latest obsession. I mean it is a blazer, but isn’t it like a blouse too? I have a hard time deciding. Anyways, short sleeve blazers with that famous 80s vibe á la YSL and Escada gets me spinning real good right now. I wear it with shorts (favorite!!) but it goes with a slip skirt as well as with denim.

So, I know I’ve written about these blazers before, I call them Bunny MacDougal blazers. But really, they are mostly wide shoulder blazers with a narrow waists in bouclé or thick cotton. These can be worn with anything, but they need a certain *cool* to not feel dusty.
