Halloween weekend starts now, for some people that is to say. For the rest of us that ”do not do Halloween”, in the sense that we refuse to put hours and hours on shopping crazy ugly costumes and say NO to hiring a make-up artist to help us transform from fashion-us to old-fashioned monsters and zombies, there’s an alternative way to go – the runway route.

The AW22 shows had every outfit you could possibly need to create a dark theme and a mysterious aura; Martin Margiela’s Couture Horror Tale, Demna’s all black, all covering second-skin scuba body suits and Sara Burton at Alexander McQueen that didn’t disappoint anyone with her mysterious mycelium (the underground fungal network that’s sometimes called nature’s “wood wide web,”) collection. Now, hurry down town to grab one of these elevated halloween-ish rtw pieces. Darkness falls in two hours.
