Great Pieces to Invest in During the Summer Sales

According to me sales are the best opportunities to invest in odd and iconic design pieces that will last for a long time. With that said, not plain or boring (in my opinion) ones. Three summers ago I started with this mindset and have found crazy good bargains and pieces I love as much today as I did when I bought them. And will probably do for 20 more years. If I would have 24h to shop 13 pieces to keep forever this summer sale it would be these ones.

And there are so many iconic dresses and designs now on sale. I wouldn’t mind bringing this one to Ibiza in two weeks. Imagine with a pair of flip flops and a straw bag.

My favorite sale every season are the show pieces of Loewe. There are always sooooo many cool pieces you can only find at their own website, for an example this dress. I almost fell off my chair when I saw it. And ordered it straight away, I just couldn’t imagine a life without it. Can’t wait to wear it in Ibiza in a couple of weeks.

…Are now on sale, but in black. And at 40%. I don’t go or travel anywhere without these ones, so comfortable and goes with everything!

And do you also remember this dress everyone posted on SoMe’s together with some other incredible key looks? I thought this dress was going to sell out faster than I can even spell to Jacquemus. There is not a secret Arket does the best suits and short suits on the market, for a reasonable price and great quality. Almost all my favorite blazers and suits have I “thrifted” at sale from Arket, and now they have this incredible color at 50% with a matching hat!! How cute. Perfect “back to the city look” post vacation in August.

A Jil Sander bag can never go out of time (or style), and this version I believe can be your +1 at any occasion. Now at 50% (!).

Maybe the best dress I have seen this sale season (obv together with the other ones above here), but I can see myself in this dress in so many different scenarios: everything from Fannys wedding to the beach with a pair of flipflops. It reminds me a bit of this Old Céline dress that might be my best second hand find ever, and this is maybe the little sister to it?? However it is so so good.

Last but not least. I think I could spend all my days of vacation in this knitted set from Acne Studios. As the Proenza Schouler dress, this would work as good at the beach as at a party. Also, imagine it with red stockings this fall and a big blazer. Yes I need it. Now.
