To all my friends and family: Here is what I want for Christmas

The classic Christmas gift

At least in Scandinavia, a pair of warm gloves or a home knitted beanie is the most common Christmas gift. Sounds dull? It doesn’t have to be. I am putting this classic check scarf up on my list, just beside another scarf big as a blanket. If I would wear them together? If the winter gets mean, perhaps. One can never get too may wool layers according to me.

Scarf and blanket, Acne Studios.

A less classic gift too

This one would be rather hard fitting under the Christmas tree though. But since we don’t have a tree it should be just fine? A Togo piece or why not a whole group from Ligne Roset is on the top of my list.

Something from me to me?

It’s always a good idea to start the new year with a new bag. Or in this case and old new bag. The classic Bottega Veneta Hobo bag has gotten new life with the Daniel Lee era we are in and I am here for it. Although the new pieces are to die for, I am very interested in the old classic one.

Sunglasses for winter? Exactly

I love it when people ask why do you shop for sunglasses during winter? Bc it’s a look Brenda!!!!!!!

But also because when if not during winter do you need accessories to make something interesting. I mean we got the big bukly coats, the right footwear (well most of us do anyways) and all other things one needs to survive. Sunglasses are probably the only thing one can afford to go a little wild with, without paying for it later in frostbites.

On top of my sunglasses list: Loewe Filipa glasses. Big enough to cover my entire face (and yours too probably)

A really good leather trench

This the season! Layered up with a lot of knits and why not a puffer vest, a leather coat is truly a good idea. But this is not only a one season wish. A good leather coat gets even better with time.

This year has really made me think about investments. I want to purchase things I can have for a really long time. Not only will it be more sustainable from an environmental point of view, but more sustainable for my style. I need to have more things around me that are a 100% me.
