Hi it’s you anti dating guru calling to talk about date night outfits!!
I am not an expert on the subject. In fact, I am the worst at dating. I get very serious (read sweaty) and talk non-stop about everything from taste in candy to viruses than only affects cats and the climate changes. And like a wise charter (oh well) once said, men I may not know, but shoes, shoes I know. So, I am not here to give you advise on dating but I am here to give you advise in date dressing. Because I’ve never lost a second date due to a bad outfit, only bad conversation.
Also, if getting married is the ultimate success of dating (I feel like it’s not really in 2019 though, thoughts on that?) I have scored since I am engaged.

Ok so this must be the ultimate second date outfit?? Very cool, a little bit sexy (cringing when writing this) but most of all very FUN. This dress is a total conversation starter. I think every dating history should contain a mini dress at some point. OBS this is a dinner and drinks kind of date outfit. Not a full day turned into dinner outfit.

So how many times have you heard the cliché that guys like girls in just jeans and heels?? I have not asked a male about this, but I feel like it’s just as worn out as you look prettier without make-up. It’s just like I am not getting fixed up for you I am doing it for me? And if you like it that’s nice but I don’t have to have you liking it.
But if we put this aside for a while, jeans and heels kind of are the perfect first date attire. You feel like of comfortable but at the same time dressed up because you are after all wearing heels. If I was selling you something I’d say it is effortless cool.
But, if you like you can add a crazy ass jacket and you’d be very uneffortless cool, that’s good too.

The lunch day date turned into full day date with dinner dinner and more
If I had gone on a day date this weekend, I would have ended up wearing something like this. The trenchcoat says I am a grown-up, which is a good start but the nylon shorts says I assent to the child in me too. It’s the mix. Your date will love it! I added the knit t-shirt because let’s face the sad truth it’s not summer anymore. Also, heels bc flip-flops says friend zone, at least I think so.

The baby doll dress is the cuter sister of the mini dress. It’s usually pretty short but it’s not tight at all. This is good for two reasons, you’ll be able to move your legs faster if you need to and you can eat as much as you’d like without feeling like your dress is getting closer. I shouldn’t say it but I am going to. I am lactose intolerant. I know! So! Rare! But I am really good at forgetting all about it when the dessert menu arrives. So, baby doll dresses on dates is not only cute but also convenient.
