All the mask info you need for moist this summer season
Ok, so winter is quite harsh on your skin, but you know what, so is summer. Even though sweat looks like glow in 9 cases of 10, sun and wine tends to dry you up. So, I gathered my best summer masks to *rescue* you from yourself and your summer habits.
I am doing my best to keep my skin moist and clean during summer. But I find it hard. Honestly there are so many other things I’d rather do. And when I fall asleep on the couch and sleepwalk my way to bed after 45 minutes of careful consideration is it worth it, the last thing on my mind is washing my face.
So in the morning, I always have to make it up to myself because my face feels like a windy beach. To me, skincare isn’t that much about looks when it comes down to it. Of course I love a dewy face with that famous glow, but it’s more a feeling to me. I hate my skin unbalanced.
Like I’ve written before, face masks are my ultimate quick fix. As soon as I have a slow morning, I do a face mask. And when I don’t fall asleep on the couch, I do an over night mask. Read about my favorites here.
But let’s get back to my summer favorites now.
Body Shop, Nicaraguan Coffee Intense Awakening Mask.
This isn’t really a moist mask, but I am gonna feature it due to the scenario above (the one with me falling asleep on the couch). This coffee mask is literary a big cup of coffee in your face. Does magic for a tired, dry face. Combine it with a moist mask and you are ready for about anything.
Ok, so I am gonna give you some final hacks I’ve learned. One can never do too many masks. Never put your fingers in mask jars, always use a clean make-up brush. Sleeping with moisturizing masks is the trick. Thanks for reading u guys.
