5 Fall Trends I’ve tried and liked
By: xxx Published: d/m/Y
Fall is my favorite season to get dressed. It’s not too cold and not too warm. You can cuddle up in a chunky knit but still wear a skirt. You can wear a warm coat, but you don’t have to.
This is at least what I am trying to tell myself. It seems less depressing than looking at fall like a highway to winter. But fall may be season version of that guy who thinks you should take a break before actually breaking up.
But if so may be, fall dressing is the type of girl friend that takes you out for drinks and drunken karaoke even though it’s only Wednesday and you need to get up early in the morning.
I find the clothes you want to wear, never to be appropriate to the season you are actually in. Nature always gets in the way of all cute outfits I plan on wearing.
My style at the moment is in-between the outfits I plan on wearing that are so cool and well-thought through and the outfits I actually end up wearing that are more suitable for bicycling to work every morning and run around town on meetings in a foggy drizzle.

The vest
I am gonna crown this trend the most practical ever. I mean vests are the white shirt of outerwear. It just goes with anything. Though I am not quite sure this trend is speaking to the wide mass just yet. I saw a comment of me wearing this vest on Instagram that was “when you’ve to feed the cows at 6 but be in town by 7”. And I could not agree more, that would absolutely be a great outfit for that type of situation. But I will give this person some time.
Sweatpants was just something (and still is though) you wore to the gym a couple of seasons ago.
Full leather
Maybe leather will be the trend we remember fall 2019 by. I know I will.
Looking for a way to include leather in your everyday wardrobe? Think of it as your new denim.
But if leather is the new denim, and a full denim outfit is a Canadian Tuxedo, what will a full leather tux be? The Fetish Tuxedo?
Dress, Gestuz
Shirt, vintage
Bag, Balenciaga
Sunglasses, Gucci
Sandals, ATP Atelier
Pants tucked in boots
I wore this the other day and my boyfriend called me Puss in Boots, which I guess is not that far off. He does have a greater hat than I do though. I’d swap in a sec.
Boots, & Other Stories
Suit trousers, Dagmar
Leather blazer, Arket
Cap, Livin Cool
I know shorts are not your average fall type of trend. It’s about 3 months too late. But the Bermuda shorts are really making it big this season and I am here for it. Mostly because they go very well with boots and I want to use all my fancy boots as much as possible now that sandal season is over (it’s too sad I don’t want to talk about it).
