Hey, here are 3 cyber things to entertain you this weekend
Nothing cheers up a weekend like a good collaboration drop, right? Just us? OK.
We have been following danish Helmstedt by Emilie Helmstedt for quite some time (you should too if you are not already) and were thrilled to hear about her collaboration with the ever so cool multi-brand store Mads Nørgaard. Probably most known for their ribbed striped tops, but girl, they are so much more.
The collection dropped yesterday and I think I speak for everyone at this editorial office when I say summer is gonna be hard without that bucket hat and/or drawstring bag.

The Instagram follow: next generation brand profile
Are we over over curated instagram profiles? When it comes to fashion brands on IG we’ve seen it all. But has Bottega Veneta reinvented the wheel with their new, almost made for re-grams, aesthetic? Is availability (in terms of “hey I could take that picure” obviously not the clothes) the new black?
Maybe. But here’s another thought: did they really just copy and paste the (really non?) strategy of fan account Old Céline? They kind of are preaching for the choir here, since the true Phoebe Philo fans don’t exactly hate what Daniel Lee is doing at Bottega atm…
The rewatch
HBO series Big Little Lies from 2017 was my main pleasure for the 3 days it took me to finish the 7 episodes of the first season. I remember it as very intense. I spent the following summer listening to the soundtrack, wondering what a season 2 could look like. This Monday I will be liberated by the premiere of 7 new episodes.
Let’s just say that my expectations are kind of high, since it was a great show to begin with, but now they also added Meryl Streep to the cast?? I freaking LOVE Meryl Streep.
So, how will I spend this weekend? Rewatching season 1 obviously, to be ready for number 2, is the given answer.
